The sun is out, the air fresh
And the clouds gently roll by
As I walk down to the park
Just my shadow, ball and I
When I approach the small park
I feel warmth within my soul
I'm all alone with my thoughts
And ready to take control
Each shot I take releases
The hurt and pain my heart feels
With each shot I re-gain strength
That this cold world tries to steal
And by the end of the day
I feel like a brand new man
Ready to take on the world
Reminding myself "I CAN!"
Whenever I can't go on
And dark clouds cover my sky
I'll take a trip to the park
Just my shadow, ball and I.
