Not The Last Valentine Poem.

Contributed by CommasCanSeperate on Sunday, 13th February 2011 @ 05:24:36 PM in AEST
Topic: Event

I was a self harmer.
Yet now I have been saved, from my sweet sweet valentine.
"Digestive" You deserve the Milky Way. X (Crunchie Too) ;]

I awake each day with an undoubted smile
Praying youll stick around for a while
You are the person who became my Saviour
From the powerlessness of my sweet razor
My life and my strength, you keep my heart beating
You can keep the cuts sealed, but still let out the bleeding
When Im with you Im safe, Im invincible
But if you ever let out those words, Ill fall and Ill crumble
With you I feel on top of the stars and the moon
Though when Im not I know I will be soon
You are everything that makes me grin
Even though I get in my moods, Im happy within
Lets hope this isnt the last sad poem I write for this date
And as the years pass by our love for one other will inflate
You take away my pain, you take away my worry
Happy Valentines day, to my one and only.

If he sticks around when you harmed yourself, and helped you get through it, he is a keeper. Cherish your time with him. Also some v-day advice, try not to say you would hurt yourself if he left you, or that it would crush you, even if it is true, as that can sometimes drive people away.

From somone who's been there as well, this was poured out in a great way. I'm glad you found someone who takes away that desire, as I have!

Great write. I wish you the best!
