"Lost Cause"
You told me you're over me and this
All we had was just a kiss?
All these things you tell me hardly add up
Empty is how I 'd describe the cup
Not half-empty or half full
Not even a drop is in it; I'm such a fool
Just another of your week long flings
Thrown to the side; you cut off my wings
No longer can I fly and feel good
I feel worse then I ever thought I could
You always find a replacement so quickly
Was I a rebound? Is that why you picked me?
There's no way you'll ever last
Because your new love will be gone fast
Kicked to the curb, just like the rest
I guess I wasn't the only one to fail your test
You were the waste of time, not me
You being married is the last thing I'll ever see
