Oh little girl, close your eyes and fall asleep
Oh little girl, fall into my arms and weep
I want to save you from your pain
I know you feel like youre insane

But here are some words to comfort you
And all the stuff that youve been through
Will make you into something good
So please take down that jet black hood
And let me gaze upon you face
Ill save you from this retched place

Ive seen this all go down before
I myself walked out that door
And wished to take it all away
Avoiding for another day

But listen to me healing rhymes
Dont dwell on all the countless times
You held a razor to your wrist
A last resort I cant dismiss
Youre not alone, Ive felt it too
Youre not alone, Im here for you

So little girl, just close your eyes
All this will make sense in due time.
