I skipped two classes to lay in bed and Daydream This Poem.
Can you take my hand one more time? I want to feel every line, every print To lay next to you and gleam and kiss every nail, every knuckle Then I'll look in your eyes and they'll smile back You touch my cheek with your thumb And our legs just graze as we move inches closer And our fingers say things our mouths can't I feel your breath, watching your chest, and I'm just so lucky you're here.
While you may be a alive, we never were My head needs to stay on the ground But your breath makes the air much less thin And without it I guess I'm just dizzy

Beautifully written. It shows time can be spent in a good way, even when skipping classes :) |
