Rain falling outside,
But inside of me the sun is shining brighter than ever before.
It's been 4 weeks now.
I melt when you smile.
Walking home,
You're on the bus,
You wave,
"See you tomorrow, Natalie!!"
I can't keep the grin off my face,
I don't even try this time.
I melt when you smile.
You sat by me at lunch today.
We could talk about anything.
We could talk forever.
I love when you look at me,
Your blue eyes are sparkling.
I melt when you smile.
"Write me a note next period!"
I hear behind me in the hall.
"Okay but you have to write me one too!"
Our true feelings forever confined to notebook paper.
I neatly fold mine,
I'll teach you how to sometime ok?
I melt when you smile.
Let this last forever.
I could never bear to lose you.
I want this feeling to last forever.
