what is dead needs to be cut off and I wonder
when a heart breaks does it have potential to
ever really heal again? When we were small
did we ever see this black cloud in our once
bright futures? Our addictions and our suffering
where did it truly come from? I will write to you
and send this letter to your cell, from my hospital
bed like brother like sister we will each leave tear
drops on our paper. Blue runny ink it will read a
sad story of our lives. I will always feel like you
and I were linked together, made up of the same
machinery we were built to be broken. I try to move
on staying sober for just a day while the guilt eats
away at me.

| I/'/m back. This is a really sad piece of writing. Done well and I guess the sadness cannot be undone. It is life and life gives no do-overs. I like the way you wrote of tears on the letter ... nice job. |
