Broken-hearted girls
Are just too common
I see them everywhere
I see the sadness in their eyes
The pain of what happened
I see the truth
That hides behind that smile
All they want is to cry
Broken-hearted girls
Are the best actresses
You'd never know their pain
Unless you really looked
Unless you really knew
How it feels
To be like them
To have a broken heart
Broken-hearted girls
Are the strongest
They've experienced pain
Unlike any other
And they survived to live another day
I know how they feel
I know what it feels like when your heart shatters
For I have become a broken-hearted girl
