I dreamed in a dream
that I was dreaming. . .
streaming. . .
falling down. . .
erratically
I awoke
& glad
thankful I'd not fallen
until. . .
bleeding mercury
I really awoke. . . finally
crying then. . .
finally. . .
alone with myself & the pieces
of what could be considered an alternate reality
a narrative of self
complicated by the emphasis of others
. . . not easy to face
or compilate
oh, to bleed mercury. . .
to coalesce. . .
