Sadness showing through my smiles
Sadness showing through my joy
Sadness came the day you left
Sadness came that horrid day
Sadness keeps me up all night
Sadness made me stop all life
Sadness hit hard and fast
The second that that note came back
I hate you but I love you more
Sadness left me in the cold
Sadness shows me how to bleed
And sadness shows me what I cant see
Sadness showed me something new
That life without you can be good
Sadness found a knife that night
And slit me till I had no life
Sadness made me feel no pain
Then I saw your face again
Sadness hit me hard this time
I wish I did not take my life
