take matters into my own hands
sometimes

they try to beat me down
into a submissive heap.
back into my shell
into the darkness that comforted me so well
at a time
they try to change this
rearrange this
into their idea of whats right...
when i cant evn adjust my own settings.
by all means, have at it.

why do they try and eclispe me
in their shadow
why try to cover these eyes,
and glue this mouth shut
if im not blind
nor mute
who are you...?
so high and mighty
pompous, "pretty"
