Void

Void

My facebook group The longest song just crashed and burned into a giant void in cyberspace
It was meant to enlighten and involve, bolster creativity among friends
Unfortunately I have no creatives
If I had they would have posted

So with a void to fill I would like to invite you to my new poetry version The longest poem
I hope that this will grow into a blossoming flower not a dead weed

Is poetry the new lyric?
Can poetry rule over song?
Lets hope so, lets pray
Poetry will have its day
Ands avoid the void

poetry is a beautiful thing, but i don't know if it will ever rule over song. They are both very different. I don't see one as better than the other.

I think I remember seeing that.

I have a suggestion, next time, if you're going to post it in a poem on the poetry pages, include a link. It would have made it more easy to find. You should always include the link.

Another is to post it in the forum for announcing your site or web page....can't remember the name...be right back. Smile!

*clicks new tab*

*searches forums*

Okay, back. Smile!

It's under the forums and the name is Promotion of your site.

You could promote your site there. I think it may (not definitely) get more attention there.

You'll notice tswilkins has an announcement in there and I was able to join her Facbook right away.

For one, so many poems get posted here every day that soon they are pushed to the second page, third page, forth page....well, you get it.

If it was in the forums, it appears on the home page for a while at the top right and occasionally you could bump it back to the top.

Here is the link if you are interested.

Another suggestion is that you could have reposted that poem (as long as you delete the original).

Just suggestions and sorry to hear about this.

Godspeed.

cool dude

P.S. Some songs are poetry, some poems seem musical in nature...they have a rythym of their own, but both are still unique to themselves.

Sorry, I should have said you'll have to copy/paste the link because I still haven't learned the proper way to use html for links on these screens.
