She awakes now
to release her loving embrace.
Love that once died
now flourishes in others.
Broke my heart
on her kisses and gentle touch,
temporarily healed on lost thoughts
and forgotten dreams.
Lust is the hope
that nurturers my dreams
as I continue to love you
through the caresses of someone else.
I reach for an eternal beauty
that I will never reach
because you are my peace
in which I try to install in others.
I can't live for tomorrow
when yesterday is unknown to you.
Days pass their lonely eternity
into years of untold emotions.
At the moment when I burst,
you will feel the warmth
of a heart,
overpowered with dried tears
and inadequacies,
who remembers those eternal days.
