Don't take my hand,
If you're gonna leave,
Don't try to pretend,
This ain't the end,
Just go away,
Because I don't realize,
You are my only friend.
The future will show me,
What I've left behind,
It's just hard saying,
Life's a lie,
And that I care,
Probably more than anyone,
But still I've got to punch you,
At least somewhere,
Just to prove,
You aren't the one.
They act like loving you is such a crime,
A waste of my precious time,
Little do they know,
You're the only boy who loves me,
But I don't love myself,
So you'd better just go.
And if I had only ignored them,
I would've stopped you,
Before you went home,
Because like you said,
California will still be there...
