Violins of Violence

You use your bow to play, my heartstrings like a violin. But the sound that protrudes, from the hole is violent.
I'm the A-String, you're the D-string, and our hearts, the G and E-strings. You're my clandestine musician, whose love's silent.
And on this path of empathy, you are the pilot. You're the one that I've made strides with, despite the world's advisement.
Your complaisance is a cemetery, whose sentiment has long been buried. And now I hear you sing your hymn, to nothing but your violin.

A very poetic and polite way of telling this person he's an idiot. Sounds like he doesn't deserve you or even a poem written this well. Nicely done.

I like this one since I'm a music person and I also like how "violins" and "violence" are used in the same title even though they sound alike. To me it sounds like he loved a violin more than he did you. That's just the sound of it to me. cx
Anyway it's a good piece of work, keep writing. :)
