With the first light through my window,
I know, there'll be one thing on my mind,
It's you all the time,
I still wish, for that shared bliss,
That's so rare to find,
Kind words from friends,
Make no amends,
For all that was implied,
So with equal measure,
I'll still treasure,
The memories,
And what could be,
What should be,
And all I've left behind.
