old people, church steeples such things were built long ago you see them, you'll be them now quick, you may soon be slow. they loved, time shoved now doddery, they're hand in hand he's here, she's near just held, stretched like a rubber band he feeds her, he needs her she smiles though she does not know this stranger, age drains her in his memory she'll always glow. His love song. Is yours that strong? When you pine for a love that failed she's not all there, but he still cares who'd brave the storms that their ship has sailed?

I really like this. The entire write is unique from the style it's written in down to the way it reads. There is a profound maturity in your words and this is very well done. |
