Could have shown you love
My speech was a mess
Excitement thereof
What kind of a date
Accepted!...Denied?
In time of the wait
You run and you hide
So this I have done
With my broken heart
No battle I've won
I tripped at the start
Without recover
I fall back ashamed
I scream "I miss her"
Most lovely of dames
I was just entranced
No, never desperate
Just give me a chance
You will not regret it
I've never known you
You never knew me
But my hope still grew
My zeal only seen
