The Angel In My Life

Contributed by katidid51 on Monday, 28th March 2011 @ 09:45:25 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

A wonderful angel came into my life
When all around me was trouble and strife.
To make my heart well was all that mattered
To mend that which had been broken and shattered.

This wonderful angel walked into my heart,
To help restore what had been torn apart.
With her love, patience and great care,
She lovingly and tenderly began the repair.

So like a puzzle, piece by piece she did match,
So my heart was healed with much more than a patch.
As each piece was put into place and held as if glued
My heart was filled with joy and love renewed.

She taught me to love myself inside and out
And to know she loves me without a doubt.
I know she will always have my back
And the love of a mother I never will lack.

This angel was surely sent from above
By my mother who sent her with love.
She knew I needed someone like you,
To help me from getting down and so blue.

With both mothers keeping watch over me,
My life will be better than ever, you see.
No longer filled with sorrow and rife,
I will always be thankful for you in my life.
