i wake from this slumber
still intoxicated from last night
heaving the poison i drank
wanted to go down without a fight
i just wanted to be numb
painless from my heart
for every beat it takes
it stabs and rips me apart
the pain behind this chest
is the worst of its kind
no other pain compares
its turning me blind
unable to see any joy
no more sun within the clouds
no moon when its dark
no room left to be proud
let this poison bring me down
drop me to my knees
let it take my last breath
drop me slowly please
i want to feel what it offers
i want to feel that slow death
pain is the only sensation
i wanna feel with this last breath
