I stepped upon a FrittleFrog
And it went splat!
Oh, I know what you're thinking,
Please do not think that.
It was not my intention
To cause any alarm,
And it wasn't my invention
To bring about harm.
But today has been quite foggy
And I took a little stroll,
Down along the nature trail
Beyond the old fox hole.
I happened near the waters edge
And saw the rabbit feed
On clover under willow tree's
Near gypsum weed.
I thought it was a clever thing,
To see a wonder such as that,
All before that haunting sting
When the FrittleFrog went splat.
Oh my,
