Here we stand on hallowed ground 'fore God and all to form our union. asking Him to grace and guide, our paths through life's true perils.
And perils, surely, there will be. My soul and body weaved with yours, we'll egress from each obstruction stronger, wiser, deepened love.
Times will come when I am sorrowed. Do not comfort, sooth or quell. A man must find his strength within and not beset the wife he loves.
I've had my moments through the years of pride and hubris, self-esteem, but none so grand as when with you, my love , my life, my self, my need.
I'll stand so tall in all I do, and cast a shadow few will pair, but ne'er, oh ne,er, cloud your path nor dim the lights that guide you.
Respect is earned, and you have mine, but should that fade, love may follow. Please, no way abuse my trust, and Leave a souless man of me.
Tho', I don't ask obedience or adoration, nor your honor, guises are, at best, short-lived, It is your heart that I entreat.
When I sue God to bless this life, He'll hear the calls of two. A man, a woman, mortals mere, knelt in fervent prayer.
Should you forgive my peccancies, and choose, with me, to forge a life, with all that's holy, dear to me, so proud I'll be... to call you wife.
I love you, endlessly.
