And yes in life there is a cost
Whereupon we survey whats lost
Those tears of joy we find so hard
Can make our life feel so marred

To pass this point we all accept
Is almost a journey we feel inept
But the beauty of life is love we share
And in our memory we know we care

So we draw upon this special gift
That in our loss will give a lift
The memory of the love we know
The memory of their life on show

Never forgotten never to miss
Always the want for that last kiss
Or the warm hug that brought a smile
True memory of love to pass our trial
