Moved On

Topic: LostLove

I know she doesnt love you
I know she doesnt even care
I know she doesnt understand you
Like the way I did
When you were here

Why dont you get it?
Youre blind for her, it seems.
She only wants you for your power
But, itd be different with me

Im not trying to tear her away
Nor do I want you upset
I simply want you to hear the death
Of a nimble heartbroken poet

My strategies are running thin
So is my patience and time
It looks like everybody loves her
But you all just need to open your eyes

Shes nothing but a fake.
An attention craving
Type of girl
Im sorry if youre offended
But, thats just how it is

Id tell her to her face
She needs to find her own
Even if you do prefer her
I wont be there
When you need to run

The girl you always
Have to run to
When you are in stress
Well, guess what?
Im gone for now
So just use your
Back-up plan

I guess I have grown up
I see that you have, too
So, I guess Ill take a step
And tell you dead and straight on
That I, Savannah Grace, have done the right thing and moved on.

I have been there. I felt all the feelings you have, so this makes me relate to the poem more. "I'm not trying to tear her away, nor do I want you upset. I simply want you to hear the death, of a nimble heartbroken poet". Damn, that's all I CAN say for that part. Powerful stuff here. Good job.
