I'll Get It Right This Time

I dont deserve all this
Dont do all this for me!
I cant accept these flowers
Dont bake a cake for me!
I dont do enough for you
Dont spare you enough time
I tore apart our family
Its no-ones fault but mine!

I shouldve done something sooner
Shouldve saved you all this pain
Im no good as a mother
Things will never be the same
Im no longer strong enough
I cant stand up and fight
It matters not how hard I try
I just never get things right

So go away, just leave me be
Youll understand someday
Youll do better without me
Your father will sit and play
My darlings, Im so sorry
I love you and I let you down
But I think Ive found the answer
Its hidden in my gown.

So Ill just go up to my room
Get out of everyones way
Im tired and I need to sleep
So please dont ask me to stay
Ill kiss you all goodnight now
Dont worry about the noise you make
Ill just lock my bedroom door
Tell your father make no mistake

....Ill get it right this time!
