I work and I strive, I seek new knowledge and I evolve I watch the seeds slowly plant and form And I champ at the bit, for there is no end to what I can solve In this state of mind, I can garner and perform
I can see the existences from a detached rational view point And so my own existence grow real and alert ,but I also experience the disjoint From being bathed in the ideals that marked the upward surge of mankind While seeing most of my contemporaries drown in self indulgence and wander around blind
Should I Also join the mindless self indulgence or keep following this wise ideal? The easy way or the hard way seems to be the question But I cannot allow myself to falter; to discouragingly abandon the zeal So I must cut off the trivialities of life with no discretion
For if I fall down the endless hole of regressive intelligence Our ancestors will all have lived in utter vain And my existence would then again wither away into irrelevance So I avoid the pit, for I have to sustain.

Justify your existence on this planet, by leaving the world a better place for you having lived in it.....Jim Larkin
I emphasize with every single word here mate. politics leaves me restless, and that feeling is exacerbated by the decadent and blind sheep you deal with on a daily basis. we need to rebalance society, re-distribute wealth, break down class barriers, strive for equality. But too many people I know are unenlightened (not neccessarily through fault of there own) and are obstacles themselves to a progressive change that would benefit them. Orwell said 'the answer lies in the proles' indeed it does ...people like you must keep fighting. Even if it seems pointless |
