Circling the breeze the buzzard's cry is tossed Like flotsam on the waves of an oceanic sky. Hitching a ride on a passing cloud He weeps with joy at spring time coming. Admonishing the cloud he drops away And like a promise unfulfilled, He tumbles away through the mid air loneliness. Then, with wings of pointed perfection, he steadies himself And hovers there between earth and paradise. Catching his reflection cast in golden light On the gentle swell of the hill, He cries with astonishment at his own beauty, Takes a mocking bow And takes to the blue clear horizon of his world.

Hi Dennis great introduction, then a journey of feeling as wonderfully free as the buzzard,in true poetic excellence you are my connection with what you see and what you feel, enabling me to lose myself in your world. |
