If two worlds collided would you be surprised to
Find a commoner matched with fame I can't deny it
Then there is a didactic that the world will say
Rags to riches means success and there is no other way
Did anyone forget how Cinderella's happy ending came
Her Prince Charming swept her away and the two were not the same
A peasant step-child paired up with a well-bred millionaire
And if a girl cannot follow her dreams it is very unfair
She's looking for that perfect boy and he's looking for a humble girl
Both need to find each other in this world
No need to listen or follow societal ways
For love is all they need to share; they'll be okay
But what if neither one break away from the system
Of sticking to the status quot since there's no happy medium
It's either rich and lonely or poor and yearning
In a place where the two classes don't comply
She's looking for that perfect boy and he's looking for a humble girl
Both need to find each other in this world
No need to listen or follow societal ways
For love is all they need to share; they'll be okay
