Sometimes I like to think
I'm 21
go out and raise hell
til the morning sun,
walk into to the club
wit that gangster strut
make eyes at the ladies
as they wiggle thier butts,
the never grow old boys dance
while the music plays on
clapping our hands to the beat
forgetting we are to old.
Now I'm talking to this cutie
like I knew I would
I said what's up baby
you look so good,
she turned and smiled at me
with such pretty eyes
and I started melting
she had me hypnotized,
she was giggling
saying something
I couldn't understand
so she said it again as she held my hand,
my eyes started to bulge
when I recognized
it was my best friends daughter
and all I could do was moan,
what she was saying
as she was laughing and rolling her eyes
was what are doing out old man
you know you should be home.
