A secretive truth

Cold blue eyes see through my heart, They look right through me love departs, With bloodshot eyes I stay awake, It never stillsmy heart does ache,
A sensual touch, but without feeling, No hearts flutter no emotions reeling, This is not the touch I crave, To longing hope, and love Im a slave,
Dont look through me with cold blue eyes, Just take my hand and we will fly, And we will soar... upon the wings of sensation, and travel along the shores of temptation,
So take a chancewe wont always have youth, and discover the beauty of my secretive truth.

The imagery is raw which is something I really enjoy and the emotion in your words is on a display of integrity that ignores caution. Love tends to be a cliche for writing but this piece is different. You can feel these lines when reading along and there is soul within. Well done |
