I refuse to watch this world crumble.

I'll write a novel on a bridge To make you think about our privilege.
This beauty and simplicity Is more than you can manage.
But who takes responsibility When it's time to fix the damage?
I care to live in a masterpiece And feel the earth under my feet, Raw enough for me to eat, Synchronizing my heartbeat With the wind between my bones and nutrients beneath the stones. And I will breathe in what I see, And I will see what you could be, And I will be flowing free.
