used up, bruised up
tossed aside
without a second thought
broken down, torn apart
shredded to pieces
and no one notices
no one cares
not even those
closet to me
I feel like an
outsider everywhere
I go
I'm just a puppet
tossed aside
when my puppetmaster
is done with me
everytime lasts
just long enough
to believe it's real
it never is
those around me
no longer care
I can see it in
their eyes
soon enough
I'll be tossed aside
once again
I'm just a puppet

I cry as I write
these words, knowing
nothing will ever change
I'll forever be a puppet
waiting for the next
puppetmatser to pick
me up from my
tangled mess
to convince me this time
it'll be different, better
and then to
toss me aside once again
when I've got
nothing left to give
I'm just a puppet

when my puppetmaster
