they take care of each other
and lend a helping hand
and anytime of day or night
are there to understand,
no matter what the burden
no matter what the pain
inside their heart's are shining
they don't notice any rain,
sometimes there is no question
of who they really are at all
but i will tell you one thing
they will never let you fall.

it really is kind of uncanny
how they always seem to know
whenever another one of them
has lost his or her creative flow,
before it's even been mentioned
a kind word's there waiting for you
declaring that they care about
all the things you say and do,
sometimes there is no question

Humor you...
Ok... But I think you made it either too easy or extremely deceptive....
My guess would be good friends or more to the point A best friend whose shares life's experiences with you. At first I leaned towards parents but something about the poems as it went on seemed to suggest a very close friend or friends.
In any case a very good write. Keep up the good work. |
