A FATED LOVE

I always believed that true love was a myth,
That soul mates just didn't exist.
Looking back now I still can not believe that we didn't take the risk,
Instead deciding to dive back into society's deadly grip.

Over the years that have kept us apart,
We've both had our share of broken hearts.
Both have given and taken in previous relationships.
We've been hurt, suffered, and our hearts ripped apart.
We both put up walls to sheild loves last remaining spark.

Neither one of us saw it coming.
Especially not without the anger, the fighting and the running.
We never expected to be laying here side by side,
As a matter of fact you're sketching while i'm jotting down these lines.

I just wanted to write the story of how our love became fated so that you will always know
I love you more with every day that passes
I'll never give you up,
I'll never let you down,
I'll never break your heart.

As I make this solemn vow to you
I give to you my heart, mind, body and soul;
Our love is truly sealed by fate you know.
And that is why the story of our love will always be known as
A FATED LOVE
