When faith is weak, on unsteady ground No voice of reason; no comfort found With the world closing in from every angle A noose around the neck as if to strangle Pleas for mercy get stuck in throat Safety seen beyond impassable moat And hope is but a word the faithful use Done everything humanly possible; no more clues And then the problem has been made clear No human truly this weight can bear Eyes turn to Heaven in silent prayer Voice to frail for ears to hear Unsteady ground with faith so weak Yet have the strength and courage to seek For the silent prayers He not only hears But that inhuman weight He easily bears

man, no worse feeling than diminished faith, hate that feeling, but its true, i still have faith enough to say a silent prayer though inaudible to everyone but The All hearing hears |
