When I was a young man I was blessed to receive Three gifts of wonder the angles beget me Three baby daughters I could hold in my hand And I thanked God up above for revealing his plan
Bygone memories crept in, albeit at first Of the ones, tally them two, and at their worst I, just one, defensive and small No resistance had I, to rise above all
Hideous memories, a legacy long past. I solemnly declared its time put to end Send to hells bowels, and eternity last.
I did my best and though all was well As such, some comportment By way of all strengths cant be fought. Carved in minds stonework one can get caught
As time went along, I thought I did well At least I never put my children through hell And then my marriage, of such a long time The foundation crumbled and was no longer mien
A pain any stronger couldnt be felt Till to my attention as was brought My childrens repute, revealed not the father I thought Where do I go, how will I do Delusions of their love Shattered in to.
Day brake finds me trembling, at night Im lost I weep every day for the love I have lost To abandon me, if thats what they choose Im just that child, alone and abused.
