I've been thinking
that
somethings missing
I feel like
there's something I didn't do.
Since they ran me out of town
all I do is frown...
and although
everyone knows I did no wrong
I'm still just the legend
that is gone,
and I shouldn't be mad
in fact
I should be glad
to get away from there
where only misery is shared.
Can't shake this feeling
that there is something missing,
it's so strong that now yesterday
has overwhelmed tomorrow....
and keeps me thinking
that there
was something
I was suppose to do.

what I love about this piece is it's honesty
it's easy to pretend we don't care how others perceive us
but as we all weight on each other it does matter
but there's something deeper here in this passage
a sense of someone on the brink of silencing the nonesense,
forcing these others to take a look at themselves
well written
