Shadow games
Ive brushed my broken heart underneath a rug,
Hidden searing pain from the ones I love.
Its not the same
And were to blame.
I left the stranger sleeping in my bed,
Tip toing away from the noises in my head.
Ive lost my mind
I cannot find.
You used to make my heart skip with half a glance
I'd like to hold you through the night,
But Id never get a chance,
Theres no romance
( theres no romance)
There is a silence that fills the room,
A kind of ignorance that came too soon.
Our two is one
The spark has gone
I used to think we would share our name,
The devil inside me had been tame.
Our love is lame
This shadow game
