Alone in the dark
allows fear to creep in,
thoughts overwhelming
the senses within.
Dark and disturbing
the images flow free,
vial and disgusting
theyre devouring me...
Evil lives here
deep in the dark,
its stalking the lonely
seeking out its next mark.
And try as you might,
yet to no avail,
theres no place to hide,
its got you; youve failed...

wow, how powerful is this?! I love the picture it creates, but my favourite stanza definitely has to be the first one.
