and flowers
momments and hours
long live my love
for
thee,
old and gray
we are today
yet still lovely
you are,
to
me
♥
Day and night
you still feel right
even at this age,
simply look
at my hearts book
your still on every
page
♥
How we both
just came about
like strangers with
no
name,
suddenly
'twas you and me
two hearts that felt
the
same
♥ ♥
Young and shy
we were that night
yet always
so
aware,
even with my eyes closed
my heart knew you were
there
♥
You were but a distant dream
someone i never knew,
then one night
so close you came
guess you,
were dreaming
to

Hi Ben,
When I attempt to write a love poem my
proficiency level reaches the dizzy richter scale
heights of 1.1 ...................... with luck!
So I've given up chasing that one, and I
don't often comment on poems of that ilk
because they tend (as mine do) to be so
cliched. But this one touched me with its
honesty its endurance and its fusion of two
souls into one, and so wonderfully scripted
that it made me envious of your competence
with this subject matter. But then, if you
remain in love then the inspiration also
remains.
