I need something that's so not me
'Cause I feel I can't go on
Let me escape to the deadening of time
'Cause I feel I can't be this
Becoming what I hide from
And needing what I ran from
Will tide me over
I only fit in my skin when you're around
It's in my thoughts but never in my hands
The blood will run to make you stay
Only 'cause you leave me so confused
I would've told you all of it
And let you feel the fire inside
'Cause only you can fuel it
And keep it burning
I only feel at ease when you're here with me
In my bed, the spot where we layed
I don't fit right in this place
I don't belong anywhere but with you
This place just makes me itch
But you, you soothe my frayed nerves
All I can do is stomach this pain
Sit back and wait it out
I'm only okay when I know you're not leaving
I need you to love me
Right now I can't feel it
I need to be sure of you
Right now all there is, is fear
I need to breathe without choking
Right now the air tastes so bitter
Baby, I can't see beyond the clouds
But I sure hope this rain goes away
I need to know there's sunny days ahead for you and me
All I need is to know I'm gonna spend my life with you
I'm only alive when I feel it inside
Come back and say the things that make me feel it
Breathe the life back into me
You're the only one that can bring me to existence
I'm only alive with you
