I have vanished from his precious memory
Disappeared from everything tangible and communication has been lost
To see my face would be a miracle for your prized jewel so young yet clever
And now that there is a blockade created unmovable consider your wish granted
No more conversations for you to overhear wondering what could be sent over the line
To capture an adolescent's attention being it is not his that you are receiving all this time
Conflict is thrust among us all and now it is your decision that has been made
"Get rid of her! She is no good for you" is what you argue with his denying heart
And now that you have your way I am as a ghost-not existing in his present-day life
Happy now? Consider your wish granted
But don't worry for me after all such a hurt can heal with he same love that hurts
Perhaps you were help in disguise for me to find someone more suitable
Ah yes, I have been set free from the shackles of forbidden love
All you wanted was for your precious one to be safe and secure
Consider your wish Granted

Does anybody have trouble understanding this poem? If so, allow memto explain I wrote this about my exboyfriend's mother cutting me off from his life since she did not get to know me that well. |

I think often the only one who really truly understands the depth of a poem is the author.
However, I can still appreciate the way it has been crafted and how beautifully it flows.
Nice work.
