Wish we could have had just one more day,
cause now I can't get you off my mind.
I drove down the road, looking at the seat next to me,
hoping to see you sitting there.
Hoping to see your smile once again,
hoping to see your eyes sparkle once more.
I can't breathe,
my breath has failed me.
I can't sit still,
my hands are still shaking.
Can you tell me why this is so?
Am I on your mind too?
I wonder the reason I am this way today,
at least to know how I feel.
Maybe cause I left my heart with you.
I left my heart at Tawakoni.
I left it on the sandy beach,
I left it in the warm waters.
Am I the only one who feel this?
You asked if I could take care of you,
that is a question you should know the answer.
I can't give you the world, this I know.
But I can give you everything I got,
I can give you my all, everything I am.
I will try my hardest to make your dreams true,
whether with or without me, I want to see your happiness.
But you should still know, I left my heart with you.
I left my heart at Tawakoni.
