Selfishly you trick me into your arms
whilst I await cruelty in your lies
How can I possibly keep calm
when ghastly darkness fills your dreary eyes.
Only yesterday you spoke words of love
today it is mere deception
Only yesterday I lived above
the petty shallow indiscretions.
You promised me rapture
you led with temptation
yet succeeded with the capture
of unjust redemtption.
So I think to myself wether you love me or nay
dire conditions they exahust me
I cowardly run towards you in dismay
My beating heart fully exposed for you to see.
only yesterday you promised me the sun
Today meager clouds cast shadows over me
only yesterday I was the one
scant sorrow have mercy.
