Best friends are forever they are a gift from above,
They make your life worth living; they fill your heart up with love.
At times we may hit some rough patches but we always seem to work through them because,
We neither discriminate nor do we judge.
The first time we met I had a black eye and you wore a ring.
You took one look at me and immediately brought me under your wing.
Looking back now if you hadn't of made such a big deal over that tiny little thing,
We never would have forged a friendship and to our friendship we still cling.
Although our friendship has had to go through so many tests,
There's not another person that I can even think to suggest,
That I would rather be friends with cause girl you know you are the best.
The best friend that anyone could ever ask for; now let me tell you the rest.
True friends are hard to come by
Besides the ones we have up in the sky.
After all we've been through I don't doubt that we will be best friends until the day that we die.
Even beyond the grave so long as we don't cheat steal or lie.
We will be able to share our beautiful friendship with our friends up in the sky.
So before I lay my head down tonight my prayers will include you,
For without you in my life I would surely be blue.
Girl I honestly don't think that you even have a clue,
What our friendship means to me and how lost I would be without you.
