Sitting here in a sedated state of mind
While feeling as though I'm not where my body
is currently situated.
I close my eyes and my current location is
in a more relaxed and peaceful setting,
Though that vision quickly becomes faded.
Faded with the reality that I'm not where
I wish I could be at this moment, which is
Far from this veridical existence Im stuck in
But once Im able to change this location
will where I end up be a positive influence
on my attitude that is so intensely grim
Laughter which so seldom is heard
and vivid intriguing conversations of just
about everything is so much needed
To feed the need for interaction
the desire to socialize with intelligent
life yet I feel Ive been so cheated
I sit and wonder why I am the way I
am if one there isnt who is my equal
and none who understands my mind
Coming to terms with my eccentricity
as just part of who I am or have become
and as if in my own mind I am confined.
So I will relax in my thoughts and my
own words that bring me comfort
as I alone know what I mean.
Where the conversation involves me
alone and where my thoughts on paper
have transitioned into my routine.
