helpless to think so i say
what a difference this day
i wake to find you there
a smile lost without a care

you smile like a fluttering candle
the brush of your hair i cease to handle
the glimpse from ocean eyes
sun sets shadow dies

birds casting dancing moon
you catch your breath
whispers linger
i cant shake this forgotten tune
it comes like death
an off key singer
