They speak like angels from heaven
Sent from God above for you and me
To fill our hearts with love
To fill our minds with hopes
They bring back sweet memories from the past
That echoes through your inner core
They speak of love and beauty
And dreams that turn into realities
Their comfort warms our hearts
They light up our dark roads
And shower it with roses
But then...Open your eyes
And the eyes that lies within
See the thorns among the roses
The darkness on the next mile
Think of dreams as dreams
And reality as reality
See the empty look in their fiery eyes
Angelic they may be...
But within their lips is a demon's tongue...
This is not what you call truth or love
This is merely the beauty that lies speak
