Finding another autumn

Autumn again, the first cold rains.
Each year the moments
and season briskly change.
It seems so with people
and things that I know
soon some will be but a mere whisper
frozen in memory and winters snow.
Change we cannot escape from
though sometimes it hard.
There are things you want to let go of
others you do not.
It seems the things I want to keep
are now drifting far from me
others I want to go
just wont let me be.
I sigh at the thought of it
as the rain tumbles down.
The wind today is howling
a haunting drifting sound.
Today Im finding another autumn.........
