There had to be a last time
To think that it was the last time
That i ever felt the way I do
In the way i love you

There had to be a last time
To enjoy the pleasures of life
In the middle of the night
Under the clean calm sky

There had to be a last time
to feel dumb and numb
to know that for every day i live
it feels as the first time i felt for you

there had to be a last time
to know that for every day it pass
i yearn in my mind for you
before i dream

there had to be a last time
in desire before i fall
sleeping in my bed
to meet you in my dreams
